21 November 2006 - The planning is done, the work is complete and the furnishings are in place. The kitchen is ready and the dining room is set. To paraphrase Arlo Guthrie, we have been rejected, dejected, inspected, directed, subjected, erected, and perfected. Everything that has transpired from a crazy idea in May 2005 through now has brought us to this point.
As an early supporter and subscriber to this newsletter, we promised that we would let you know things before we announced them to the general public. Today, we are making good on that promise. We quietly opened our doors last week to give the staff a chance to 'cut their teeth' on real guests. We can say that we are now ready. There are still a few menu mods we need to address, but the heart of our menu is ready to go.
There are two other things. We will be closed for Thanksgiving Day. Our family wishes yours the very best! Also, we will be celebrating 'Downtown for the Holidays' on Saturday, December 2nd. The RHS Bands Clarinet Ensemble will perform. That night, there will be three dinner seatings: 5pm for pre-lighting, 7pm for post-lighting and 8:30pm.
